All yoga asana (physical) practices prepare the mind for meditation.
Meditation begins with intention, giving our minds time and space. Yoga is the harnessing of the mind. This is the beginning of the movement of energy. The practice of meditation allows us to become aware of and master the layers of self to witness where we are at.
Through meditation the mind begins to understand the lower and higher states of self.
The time and space between thought is consciousness. The mind wants what it doesn’t have until you train it to do otherwise. The mind also fills time and space with our previous conditioning. Yoga is the state of union with our natural self.
Our mind and ego are allies within a controlled mind with the help of the higher self. Meditation helps get our mind out of the way of the light.
The only thing that is real is each of our individual consciousnesses.
